Te reo Māori is an official language of Aotearoa and a precious taonga protected under Te Tiriti o Waitangi. It is a language that connects us to our identity, our history, and our future, and one that deserves to be heard, celebrated, and nurtured in every classroom.

This resource has been created to support kaiako to feel confident, capable, and empowered to teach te reo Māori, while learning alongside their ākonga. Through engaging tutorials, visual semantic cards, and practical teaching resources, my goal is to make te reo Māori more accessible and achievable for all.

When viewed as a whole-school investment, the cost is surprisingly small. For a kura of approximately 500 ākonga, a school subscription works out to less than $2 per child per year for access to a growing library of te reo Māori resources, tutorials, and support materials.
